Due to the high-pressure nature of the job, many Veterinary Professionals require mental health and wellbeing support. Barrington Centre is delighted to introduce Psychological First Aid (PFA), a program tailored to the Veterinary Industry. PFA is the mental and emotional equivalent of medical first aid. This initiative will provide Veterinary workers with the necessary skills to identify and support colleagues who are experiencing psychological ‘ill health’.
Barrington Centre’s Senior Psychologists alongside Industry Professionals have designed this program to build Individual and Organisational resilience. Psychological First Aid thereby reduces the risk of anxiety and depression within the Veterinary sector.
